Master Bedroom Reveal

Hi sweet friends! I am so excited to be able to share our master bedroom with you this morning. I had the best intentions of doing a full home tour a long time ago and well, life just gets busy! I promise it's all coming room by room though. You can now click the 'home tour' tab at the top of my blog to find each space as it gets uploaded as well!

When we bought our house in Florida we somehow fixed up and decorated every other room before we did ours, and I swore to myself that we would never do that again. So, when we moved here to Ohio I knew I wanted our room to be done first! We got to work and painted the walls, framed out the bedroom window, hung curtains and brought in lots of neutrals. When dreaming of this room and what I wanted it to feel like I decided to pick the word "cozy", and that it definitely is! This is my favorite place to escape to and for that I am grateful!

TIP: If you are a DIY person and enjoy fixing up your home. Learn from me, and start with the master bedroom FIRST! That way you will always have a sanctuary you can come to when the rest of the house feels like chaos during project mode!

When creating any space, but especially our master bedroom I knew I didn't want to just use random knick-knacks, but rather things that held special meaning to us. I challenge you to do the same. It will make you enjoy your space that much more when you love the things you bring into it.
